While we would love to have you join SCSEBA for all of your benefit areas, you may want to choose a specific area of benefits.

We can assist you in determining whether the SCSEBA JPA is a good fit for your organization.  We ask 6 questions that help us assess our match.  

Please give us the following information for each plan program that you are interested in joining.

  1. How much does the district contribute to the employee’s benefit package for the particular program (current and proposed)?  SCSEBA is a good fit for employers who contribute to the employee’s benefit package.
  2. When does your program renew each year?  It is best to start the process of getting information and fact finding at least 3 months (6 is even better) before your program renews.
  3. What is your current rate and your historical rates for the past 3 years for the program?
  4. What does your current plan include?  Are there other benefit areas that your current plan does not include that you would like to add?
  5. What is the total number of eligible employees for the program? What is the total number of eligible employees waiving coverage?
  6. What are the Employer Eligibility Rules for your current plan? (waiting period, hours worked per week, coverage offered to part-time employees and retirees).
