President's Message - Fall 2008

We have gotten off to a great start this year!

I want to congratulate newly elected Executive Members, Dave Creswell, Mountain View SD, and Dan Mellon, Chino Valley USD. Their expertise in fiscal, personnel, and risk management services will be welcomed by the Committee and staff. I want to also thank the many school and community college districts who provide not only the personnel to take on the issues of the JPA, but for allowing the time commitment it takes to do this important work on behalf of the entire JPA.

I am excited to invite you to browse through our thoroughly revamped website. It provides invaluable information about the JPA, for both current and prospective members. Take a look at the Master Calendar and Meeting Agenda section to see what the Board of Directors and Executive Committee have been working on. Check out the Programs and Services offered as well as the Resources that are available with a single "click" of your mouse. You also have an opportunity to read "Safety Bill's" safety chats on line.

Finally, call upon the JPA staff to answer those questions that you may need to ask. Most importantly, use the website--it is designed to help you to help others.
