Property Program and Services
SCSRM is very proud of our property program, which provides our Members with an outstanding combination of broad coverage and competitive pricing. Member's physical assets (buildings, contents, etc.) are covered under this program, against most risks of physical loss or damage, including flood.

With 32 districts participating, the property program is one the JPA's most popular programs. Through participation in a larger consortium, SCSRM is able to leverage the significant values insured to great effect, resulting in a stable, comprehensive and competitive program designed specifically for public entities.

The SCSRM program's limits and sublimits are significantly broader than what is available elsewhere. Amongst the special coverage features provided are:

  • Per occurrence limits of $600,000,000
  • Replacement cost coverage (new for old)
  • Flood coverage
  • Automatic Builders Risk coverage
  • Un-named locations coverage
  • Comprehensive boiler and machinery coverage
  • Appraisal every 5 years
  • Broad crime coverage

The SCSRM property program is designed to provide "peace of mind" coverage to our Members, assuring them that, in case of a loss, their physical assets are well protected.
