Health Advocate
Program Overview
The SCSEBA Health Advocate program is a unique health care related service available to all SCSEBA member district employees enrolled in one of the SCSEBA medical plans. Health Advocate is an independent company made up of health care professionals, such as nurses, doctors, psychologist, etc., whose sole purpose is to assist employees with health care or health insurance-related issues.

- Service is responsive 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

The best news is that the Health Advocate program cost is included in the current premiums. There is no extra charge. Program Features:
- Finding the best doctors
- Untangling insurance claims
- Assisting with eldercare
- Navigating within an insurance company to help obtain approval for needed services
- Locating & researching all current treatments for a medical condition
- Coordinating care among physicians and medical institutions
- Grievance advice
